SUKHOI SU-37 Panel Version4.1 for FS2002

These instructions will help you to install this panel in a single aircraft. If you want to install this panel for use with several aircraft, read the other set of instructions.

Thank you for taking the time to download my SU-37 panel for FS2002.
This panel is suitable for twin engined, 5th (& 4-1/2th!) generation Russian Jet fighters.

Please note this panel has been designed with "hot" buttons and switches throughout. Using the shift# keys will mess up the layout. You will get the most fun out of this panel if you follow the procedures in the Flightmanual. Included is an explanation of where the access buttons are and what they do.

Installation.

1. You will require both zip files for this panel to work.

2. Unzip the file called S372K2ii into a temporary folder. Then open the file called SU37gauges and drop the contents directly into your main FS Gauges directory.

("SU37gauges" contains a lot of loose .gau files and a zipped XML file called "Rafale". Dont try to unzip Rafale, just put it into your FS2002 Gauges directory along with the loose files).

You can overwrite any existing gauges if prompted. I have renamed any gauges I have changed, so you will not lose anything.

3. Unzip the file called S372K2i into a temporary folder.

Contents.
4 folders (directories) - SU37_Panel
- Sound
- Docs
- Options
Readme
File ID

4. Open your FS2002 directory. C/Program files/Microsoft games/FS2000/aircraft

5. Open the directory of the aircraft you want to use the panel in.

6. Rename the existing panel directory (folder) "Panel.old"
(right click on it and select "rename").

7. Now drag the panel directory called SU37_panel from S372K2i to the directory of the relevant plane. Rename SU37_panel as just "Panel".

There should now be 5 folders in the aircraft directory - model
panel
panel.old
sound
texture

8. Sound: Open this directory in S372K2i. You will see one .wav file.
Drag this into your Main FS2002 sound folder

C/Program files/Microsoft games/FS2000/sound

(That's the main FS2002 sound directory - NOT the sound directory of the plane!!!!)

9. Read the Flight manual (in the docs folder); especially the "known issues" and hot key positions.

10 Options: There are three directories in options.

- Aliased panel.cfg. This is for people who want to use the panel with more than one aircraft. If you want to do that you need to read the other install instructions.

- Berkut tactical bitmap. This is an alternative static tactical display for use with any model of the Sukhoi S-37 Berkut. If you want to use this panel with a Berkut model, just install it as per the instructions above, then replace the file called "tactical Array" with this one.

-Naval SU27.cfg. This is an alternative panel.cfg which includes a switch for the arrestor hook. Use this for any carrier based aircraft. If you want to use this panel with a carrier based model, just install it as per the instructions above, then replace the file called panel.cfg with this one.

Email me if -

- you have any problems that are not covered in the docs
- if you like the panel

If I get enough emails I will consider upgrades in the future

DO NOT email me with questions on issues that are covered in the manual. I will not reply to emails from people who can't be bothered reading the destructions.

Happy landings -
